Caribbean Union Bank (CUB) welcomed students from Cedar Grove Primary School as part of its second round of educational bank tours for Financial Information Month.

The initiative aims to help young people understand how banks operate and to encourage good financial habits from an early age.

During the visit, pupils were given a guided tour of the bank’s facilities and took part in interactive sessions on saving and money management.

The students also met the author of Aunty Honey’s Money, a children’s book designed to teach financial literacy through storytelling.

A CUB spokesperson said the programme was “about empowering the next generation with the knowledge and confidence to make sound financial decisions”.

Financial Information Month is marked each October across the Eastern Caribbean and promotes the theme of financial empowerment through education and awareness.
