I received news of the death of past General Secretary of the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association and a former president of the Caribbean Football Union Gordon Derek with sadness.
I am writing to extend our sincerest condolences, on behalf of the executive committee of the Caribbean football Union, to the membership of the Antigua Barbuda Football Association, the wider football draternity in Antigua and Barbuda and to Mr. Derrick’s family and friends.
We ask that you extend our sympathy to all who mourn Mr. Derrick. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of bereavement.
