Police briefly diverted resources from an early-morning route march in St John’s on Saturday after a car collided with a parked police motorcycle on Independence Avenue.
The motorcycle was unoccupied at the time and was damaged in the incident. Police said the driver was not injured and no officers were harmed.
Officers secured the scene and the march resumed shortly afterwards with minimal disruption. An investigation into the cause of the collision is under way.
