Glad to see authorities cracking down on illegal drugs!
More should be done to stop this kind of smuggling at ports.

Impressive work, but we need to stay vigilant. The problem is far from over.
That’s a massive haul! I wonder how many others get through unnoticed.
A step in the right direction, but the issue is far bigger than just one bust.
Is the crackdown effective enough, or are these smugglers just getting smarter?
This is the kind of action we need to protect communities from illegal drugs.
we need to focus on the root causes of trafficking.
Aren’t we missing something here? I think it should be obvious that ‘someone’ was clearing that ‘barrel of food’ in which the ‘substance’ was found. Yet, we hear nothing about anyone being even held for questioning. Why not?
Drugs still a sell the Coke Cowboy knows yall can’t stop it once people in authority are in their pockets..
Did anyone ever told these importers that Antiguans can grow their own cannabis. Four Trees each. Or is it the case that some still think home grown weed is not good enough.
How do they know when to switch from the airport to the seaport??
People still smuggling a legal drug in the country? What I cannot stand is the way these guys walk around smoking spliff right infront the police. It’s almost like…well tek dat. Apart from that these guys don’t even realize that the weed got their lips black and their eyes red and they teeth baige. Some handsome looking guys too. Fellas give up the smoking. There’s already a shortage of men in Antigua.
Free up the herb
I will never understand why the police don’t wait for someone to clear the barrel so they can make an arrest. Seems like it’s sent and the people taking it to the station were expecting the delivery. Just saying. Lots of drugs being seized with no arrest.
