Cannabis, with an estimated street value of EC $96,000 was seized at the Deep Water Harbour, following another joint drug operation between the Police and Customs.

The controlled substance which carries a weight of 12 pounds, was discovered wrapped in 16 vaccumed packs inside a barrel on Tuesday.

Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.

On Sunday, a total of 110 pounds of the said drugs were seized at the airport with an estimated value of EC$880,000.

This latest seizure now carries the amount of cannabis seized for the year to 650 pounds.

    • Same thing I was thinking. You hear about all these seizures but no arrest. Appears suspicious to me.

    • Exactly. The question is where are these coming from and why do many cannibis entering the country and when being seized where do they go. I have been following this report for a while and something seems off, then in the next few months you will hear that young people are needing mental health. I was reading up on a report that 20 containers has gone missing with gold and silver and 10 men they say took these containers and nowhere to be seen hmmm 😒😒 I smell a stink fish with these articles. Don’t let these people fool you.
