A Caribbean Airlines flight attendant is now in police custody. He is accused of trying to smuggle in US dollars into Trinidad and Tobago.
According to reports, the employee was held at the Piarco International Airport by officers of the customs and excise division following a flight from Guyana.
The attendant was reportedly checked by the officers upon reaching the airport and an undeclared amount of US Dollars exceeding the allowed amount was found.
