The Ministry of Health and the Environment is asking all business places selling and distributing plastic bags to hand them over by December 31.
It is currently illegal to import, sell, or distribute shopping plastic bags.
If convicted, the fine under the Customs Act for Prohibited Goods is $100,000 plus two years imprisonment.

In fact there is a particular superette on upper High Street controlled by persons of Asian decent presently selling these plastic bags for 25 cents…. The Law is the Law and no one should be exempted!
Lol lol lol lol lol lol gee I wonder which supermarket that could possibly be. There are sooooo many of them on upper High Street and sooooo many of them are operated by persons of Asian descent. Hmmmm
