Bus driver hospitalised after colliding with horse

A bus driver is being treated at the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre after colliding with a horse about 9:30 p.m on Monday.

The man sustained injuries to his neck and chest while the horse died from the impact of the crash in Powells.

According to reports, the driver who normally carries call center employees was on the job when he encountered a horse.

Before he could stop, the man crashed into the horse damaging the bus and causing injury to himself.

He was transported to the hospital in an ambulance, no one else was on the bus at the time.

  1. This is why i keep telling these bus drivers slow down when i am in the bus. My friend . Hope he is okay and doing good.

  2. Will the owner of the horse pay for the damages ?
    It is illegal as far as I’m aware to have roaming live stock!
    Time for people to become accountable for the actions or inaction
