Local treatment good enough for Burn Victim, officials say

Cabinet Notes – A burn victim from the Burma Quarry accident, who has been hospitalized for a week, continues to receive treatment at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center (SLBMC).

Despite requests to send the victim abroad, the Cabinet has been advised that the quality of care in Antigua is comparable to treatment abroad at this stage.

  1. How isn’t the Cabinet members travel to the USA for annual check up on tax payers money?
    The hospital is incapable of doing a check up but can adequately care for a burn victim?

    Gregson get a lawyer and start legal proceedings immediately.

    Inadequate training for dangerous work
    Damages from the accident
    Inadequate treatment
    Future damages.
    Corrective surgery
    Unforeseen damages.
    The total should be in the region of 70 million XCD.

  3. Okay! Okay! So the hospital recently got a Burn Unit? Where is it! Where? Have they seen the pictures of this man’s third degree burns including his face?! Couldn’t be! If it was a relative of one of the members of cabinet that had gotten a burn on just ONE arm (nevermind the face, 2 arms and 2 legs) the person would have been flown out right away! Shameful!!!

  4. You all to damn wicked and evil. Send the man to a burn center so he can get the treatment he deserves. A u to wicked. I want him get Wendell Robinson and sue you all. He is a Government worker he was burned on the job doing you all work. You all supposed to make sure the man get the best of the best treatment. Wicked and evil bunch of Naga.
