REAL NEWS: A masked man managed to make off with close to $400 during a burglary in spite of the homeowner having caught him in the house.
Reports say the police are investigating the incident in which a Grays Farm woman complained that, at about 4 a.m., she had been awakened by a tumbling sound.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a masked man, wearing a black shirt, running out her front door with her black handbag, which contained $375 and her ID cards.
The matter was reported to the Grays Farm Police Station and a search of the area was carried out for any suspicious person and the stolen item – but without success.
