Brothers Accused of Murder Detained by Police for Possession of Currency and Other Items in Vehicle

Police officers on duty in All Saints on April 25 detained two brothers who were charged with murder, after they were discovered with a sum of currency and other items in a vehicle on All Saints Road.

Acting on a tip-off, officers identified a white Honda car driven by a man from Bethesda, along with his brother and a woman from Grays Farm.

The vehicle was stopped and searched, leading to the confiscation of a quantity of Eastern Caribbean currency, a receipt, and a pair of registration plates for investigation purposes.

The car was impounded and taken to Police Headquarters while the occupants were interrogated at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

The brothers have previously faced charges of robbery, possession of firearms and ammunition, and illegal drugs.

They were also on remand at His Majesty’s Prison for a murder charge, but reportedly obtained bail through an application before a High Court judge.

Meanwhile, a search warrant was executed at the female passenger’s home on the same day, but nothing noteworthy was discovered.

However, officers executed another search warrant at a property of the Grays Farm woman in Five Islands that evening, where they found a quantity of marijuana.

The woman was brought back to the station for further investigation.
