Brittany Jno-Baptiste, Accused of Jane Finch Murder, to Face Court on January 22, 2024

Brittany Jno-Baptiste, in her early 20s, faces murder charges for allegedly killing Jane Finch in her Piccadilly home on October 4, 2021.

Jno-Baptiste was found in Finch’s home with the victim’s lifeless body, which had multiple stab wounds.

Finch had called the police and sought help on social media before the tragic incident.

Initially diagnosed with a psychological disorder, Jno-Baptiste underwent treatment and was later deemed fit to enter a plea.

The case has been transferred to the High Court, and Jno-Baptiste is scheduled for arraignment on January 22, 2024.

  1. You know what is amusing? If the victim was black, we wouldn’t see a photo of the aggressor and the diagnosis of mental illness would stand. The double-standard needs to stop.
