An eight-year-old girl and a 25-year-old were injured in two separate incidents during Piggots j’ouvert.
Both are in hospital receiving treatment.
An eye-witness told Antigua News Room that the truck wheels ran over the girls foot after she fell off it.
In the other incident, the man tried hanging on to part of the truck when a piece of wood dislodged and struck him.
The j’ouvert was not called off. Both incidents occurred around 10.am.
