UPDATE:
ONE DEAD, THREE INJURED IN URLINGS CRASH
A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at hospital Monday afternoon following a horrific vehicular crash in Urlings. Three other people who were in the car are now nursing injuries in hospital.
The crash happened shortly before 1:30 when the driver apparently lost control of the white car which slammed into a lamp post. The Emergency Medical Services received the call at 1:22pm, mobilized two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle within two minutes and arrived on the scene at 1:39pm. CPR was performed on the male in his 30s who was found unresponsive with major chest injuries. He was quickly rushed to hospital by the EMS, but was later pronounced dead.
Three other occupants of the car, a 40 year old man and two women, aged 70 and 53, were also rushed to hospital with various injuries, including cuts and bruises. One of the women was reportedly in a semi-conscious state.
EARLIER
One person is reportedly dead following an accident moments ago in Urlings.
ANR can confirm that the driver of the white Toyota motor car died following the impact.
Three other people have been hospitalised.
