BREAKING NEWS: CP wins Road March competition (other results included)

Claudette Peters celebrates after being first female to win road march title

Claudette Peters tonight celebrated being the first female in Antigua & Barbuda’s 60 years of carnival to win the road march title.

Peters whose “Out Deh” was played 57 times told a crowd at Carnival City that she was happy to make history.

Claudette won the road march after losing the groovy title on Saturday night in a competition that many people agreed was poorly judged.

She said tonight that Saturday’s results denied her of a historic tenth title but did not elaborate.
