Police confirmed that 22-year-old Kemoy Leslie has died following a stabbing incident in Jennings earlier today.
The man was reportedly stabbed in his chest following an altercation with another young man who is now in custody.
Following the altercation, Leslie was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle owned by a close friend.
He died in the hospital even though he was responsive on the way to MSJMC, according to the family members.
It is not yet known what led to the altercation.
