Police are probing a break-in at a cook shop on Johnsons Main Road that happened sometime between Friday Night and Dawn on Saturday.

The intruder reportedly gained entry to the shop by removing louvers from the window.

The perpetrator took off with several items including alcoholic beverages, sodas, meat and a cooking gas cylinder.

The owner of the shop says the thief emptied the content of the refrigerator.
There is an appeal to anyone with information about the theft to contact the nearest police station.

  1. It seems to me that we are experiencing a much higher level of crime in Antigua after the surge of immigration from Haiti, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Public policy must be modified ASAP.

CARICOM immigration is hurting Antigua and one can only wonder whether those who voted for PM Browne (such as myself) can continue to support his soft-stance on immigration when the next election takes place.

Perhaps it’s time for a new political party in Antigua? Any new party that is pro-business yet advocates for further CARICOM immigration restrictions will win the next election for sure.

  2. I can tell u have something against foreigners… I’m a born antiguan and breaking and entering as been going on for ages so why everything happens y’all quick to blame them when 70% of the time Antiguans are behind the crimes … I do agree some of them not all act as if their main goal is to bring down this country but majority of them here trying to make a life in which alot of us depend on them to do certain jobs we choose not to do …. its 2020 and antiguans are living elsewhere so bear that in mind

  3. Keep the hatians out of your country people they’re are under fire, check Dominica and Bahamas its is real don’t underestimate that statement

    • Apparently they are a SCAMPISH setta people. Sad to say I have not heard any good reports regarding the character of Haitian people. I guess that’s why Santo Domingo don’t want them.
