REAL NEWS: Wine, electronics and food items are among a number of goods stolen from several premises, including a hotel.
Reports say the security manager at Mill Reef Club telephoned the Freetown Police Station and reported that some unknown person had broken into the Beach House Bar storeroom and stolen four bottles of red wine from the cooler.
Reportedly, the perpetrator used a hard implement to pry open a western metal door to enter and steal the items.
Officers have reportedly processed the scene for prints and other evidence.
Meanwhile, the manager of the Catholic Church’s St. Lwanga Youth Centre, located at Stapleton Lane, telephoned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and reported that the building had been broken into, and two 32” television sets, an electrical stove, an electric kettle, and food items had been stolen.
Entry to the building was gained through an eastern dormitory in order to access the conference room and a kitchen from which the items were stolen.
Reportedly, the intruders removed six glass panes from the dormitory window and made their way past the chapel to an eastern back door of the youth centre.
A cutting tool apparently was used to slash the metal mesh above the door and allow entry.
Officers reportedly conducted a search for the stolen items in the immediate surroundings, but without success.
In another incident, the proprietor of Christina’s Trendy Enterprise, located at the corner of Independence Drive and All Saints Road, reported to the CID the larceny of three cameras valued at $350 each.
The perpetrators apparently removed the security devices from the western side of the business where they had been installed.

As he pulled short a trim, silverware vaporizer, he explained how it worked and the benefits of using it over traditional smoking methods. He also showed me a variety of flavored rolling papers and a grinder with a undisturbed design. I ended up leaving with a hardly items, appreciation disconcerted to struggle absent from my fashionable purchases. Praying for the perpetrators that they will come to their senses some day soon and realize that this is no way to spend their lives. They are missing out on the best that life has to offer – which is a good relationship with God and their fellow men and women. It’s only a matter of time before they get caught. The more crimes they commit the longer the sentence. They should stop and turn their lives around now. God forgives. Jesus saves.
It is time for a victim to one or two of these criminals away. Seems like law enforcement are afraid of the criminals
It is time for a victim to eliminate one or two of these criminals.

Antigua is becoming a place with high criminal activity- Rape , robbery and violence. I said before when your neighbor house on fire wet yours. St.Lucia is on fire with gang violence, St. Kitts is on fire with drug violence- both a high on the index for murders per capita. Antigua youth violence, cutlass violence, gangs formation can easily become uncontrollable. Our leaders speaking about tourists arrival reaching record heights – no talk about youth intervention. Our leaders aim is to get rich , building empires for themselves, mansions, restaurants, equipment, land grab, business centers-like at Yasoso and no youth intervention, no proper sporting facilities.
Worst yet is the violence against our women- I am not talking about domestic violence. I am talking about our sisters walking in high Day to go to work and getting guns pointed in their faces and raped by young men. It’s like completely taking away their independence, their rights to go for a exercise in what suppose to be a free democratic society. Our women are not anymore free to walk home from work or exercise in a quiet area. Heard a tourist too complained about getting raped. Yet I have not heard any response from the police or the government in response.
Our Leaders go on radio and cursing left right and center- no sensible discussion on addressing the criminal activities. We need to address our nation building holistically. Our houses are on fire call the fire trucks.
