Gas Cylinder Theft in Pigotts
A Pigotts woman reported to the Parham Police Station that an unknown individual had committed larceny on her property by stealing a 20-pound gas cylinder.
The theft occurred around 6:20 a.m., prompting the distressed woman to seek police assistance.
The victim, who was in her bathroom on the eastern side of her house, heard a disturbance and looked out the window to discover an unknown man leaving her yard with the gas cylinder.
In a bid to thwart the theft, she shouted at the perpetrator to return the container. However, the thief sprinted off in a western direction and made his escape in a white Nissan Almera vehicle.
The thief, apparently versed in gas cylinder mechanics, had managed to unscrew the cylinder from the regulator.
Despite efforts by the police to locate the stolen object, their search proved fruitless.
