12. I am aware of this individual’s Mensa worthy high intelligence and their academic accomplishments; however, I doubt we as a people are willing to overlook their chosen lifestyle. I also find the most brilliant of these types to not be self-aware.

13. Antigua and Barbuda is a small twin island nation with approximately 100 thousand people combined. We therefore have a small pool of people from which to call on who can run and participate in elective politics. This pool is even made smaller because our constitution prohibits a sizable chunk of our citizens from seeking elective office just because they work for the government
    This includes all the civil servants, teachers, nurses, police, permanent secretaries and others. If this isn’t discrimination then I don’t know what is. Our existing laws must be changed to allow for greater participation in politics by ALL citizens. As an Antiguan and Barbudan citizen, I am happy to see the announcement that Bramble is interested in seeking elective office. Whatever his chances, just as any other citizen, it is his right to seek higher office.

15. The man put his real name on the letter. I don’t know why ANR insists on the “her”. Washington is clearly a man’s name. I went to school with him. Let’s be real. This follows the disturbing trend of deliberately choosing minority members for certain things because no one will oppose them for fear of being call homophobic / racist / sexist. They will expect him to sail right into parliament because it will be seen as some sort of mark of progress. He will then become just as useless and corrupt as the rest of them…maybe already is, I don’t know
