DeSonte Barton, a 23-year-old resident of Grays Farm, released from the hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds during the Boxing Day Jouvert in Point.
Urgently transported to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, Barton endured injuries to his nostril, jaw, shoulder, and hand in an ambush near Xcape Bar on Lower North Street.
Seven assailants, believed to be minors in hoods and masks, utilized various sharp weapons, including a cutlass.
Simultaneously, 18-year-old Jaheim Mannix from Point, intervening in the altercation, sustained four stab wounds to his back.
Mannix, like Barton, received prompt treatment and was discharged within hours of the incident.
