Police are continuing their investigations into the deaths of three people, including the principal of a secondary school, whose bodies were found in a house with bullet wounds.
Police have confirmed that Alarice Andrewin, the principal of the Excelsior High School, was found in the house on the George Price Highway, after she failed to report for work on Tuesday.
The identities of the other two male bodies have not been disclosed.
Chairman of the Excelsior High School, Javier Castellanos, said he was among persons trying to contact the principal.
“So I decided to take a step since she would have informed me or informed the school of her absence. So I decided to call Hattieville Police Station to see about the situation on mile ten George Price Highway.
“There was a robbery before, a burglary about a month ago and that was my concern, you know that maybe something would have happened. So I called the Hattieville Police Station and they decided to come and check and this is the information I got, the same information that you have,” he told reporters.
Superintendent Hilberto Romero told reporters that police had entered the house in the residential area “where they found the lifeless body of three persons inside one of the bedrooms of the house.
“We have identified one of the victims as Alarice Andrewin, a teacher, who has been identified as one of the deceased. We do not know the identity of the other two at this time. We are working on that, trying to establish their identities at this time,” he said, adding that the vehicle of the principal has not been found.
“We have gotten some senior investigators comprise a team who will investigate these three murders. I cannot speculate. A thorough investigation will be conducted to determine what happened here so we can find the perpetrators of this heinous crime,” the senior police officer told reporters.
