A Bethesda man had a part of his ear almost severed after he allegedly called a fellow villager an “anti-man,” a term synonymous with being a homosexual.
The two men were in an argument on Saturday which escalated into an altercation resulting in the man’s injuries.
A cutlass was the weapon used to inflict the wound on the man who had to undergo surgery.

Funny that there was a time when even children call each other antiman and it was not taken the way it is taken today. But now suddenly everyone is quite offended by words. Wow ! How the tables have certainly turned. Soon from now I’m going to stop telling people morning, evening or night.
This is truely sad. Antiguans have a history of name calling, and usually show no regard for others felling.
