Villagers helped the injured man to slow the bleeding

A Bethesda man had a part of his ear almost severed after he allegedly called a fellow villager an “anti-man,” a term synonymous with being a homosexual.

The two men were in an argument on Saturday which escalated into an altercation resulting in the man’s injuries.

A cutlass was the weapon used to inflict the wound on the man who had to undergo surgery.

Our sources could not indicate whether the alleged perpetrator was arrested by police.

We will provide more details when we get them.

    • Nonya you sound really uneducated… Wen done we all bawling for peace n love but yet you still want d man kill him…*Shakes head*

      • Don’t begin to assume that you know me. As I said before, he should have killed him… Serve him right!!! He will now know not to interfere with people (antiman or otherwise) in the future. If he doesn’t then I say don’t give him a third chance.

  1. We must be civilised enough to be tolerant of those whom we perceive as different
and not encroach on their rights. As long as a person does not interfere with you or yours, live and let live! Seek YOUR validation from the BIBLE and let its author be JUDGE in ALL things. We MUST stop this fixation on homosexuality as if it is the only abomination or sin. Adultery/fornication/stealing/embezzling/bribery/forgery/perjury/bestiality/pedophilia/incest….

Perhaps we should start stoning each other until we are no more!!

  2. Funny that there was a time when even children call each other antiman and it was not taken the way it is taken today. But now suddenly everyone is quite offended by words. Wow ! How the tables have certainly turned. Soon from now I’m going to stop telling people morning, evening or night.

  3. This is truely sad. Antiguans have a history of name calling, and usually show no regard for others felling. However, it is the basic, keep your hands to yourself regardless to what a person say to you. It is important to remember it is not what you call me, it is what I answer to. Take a higher road.
