
Barbudan national Ralph L. Mims on 12th July, 2024, handed over three 3D printers to the Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries for use during its annual STEM Camp.
Valued at US$1,000, the printers were donated by New Mexico company, Flyer Press Design and Print, owned by the Montoya family.
“My company R. MIMS World Group, which is located in Antigua and Barbuda and New Mexico was instrumental in coordinating and bringing these computer equipment down. I am a Barbudan, my family is from Barbuda, so I feel it’s necessary for people that live in the diaspora to give back if you have the resources,” Mr. Mims stated at a brief ceremony at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries.(L-R) Mr. Ralph Mims, R MIMS World Group; Ms. Allison Leadeatte, Education Officer Senior Statistician; Education Minister Hon.
