Barbuda Council Blocks Access To Palmetto Point Causing A Halt In PLH Project

5

Members of the Barbuda Council led Chairlady Kalsey Beazer, and Member of Parliament, Trevor Walker, blocked access to Palmetto Point in an attempt to force the Peace Love and Happiness (PLH) to the negotiation table.

The Council is of the view that the Developer has sort to sidestep the Council regarding the ongoing development and that negotiations with the Council are mandatory and imperative as the lease for lands at Palmetto Point is signed with the Barbuda Council.

Work has subsequently halted on the said project.

  1. Trevor Walker appears to be this BULLY. Trevor Walker want to keep Barbuda People POOR while He and His Family keep getting richer by the day. I wonder when Barbudans will wake up and smell the coffee. This Guy is so All of Self . Trevor does not want to see another Gas Station in Barbuda. He knows if the Island is open for BIGGER business He will have competition. SHAME ON TREVOR WALKER.

    • It really upsets me when people talk like this it’s not about getting rich it’s about stand up for your country and your future family is not everything Glisten is gold. Our ancestors win the fight to set us free but we keep on in slave our self and then cry after am with the Barbudan people 100%

  2. Time will tell with those Barbudans!! Barbudans seem to be people who think with their feet and not their head…… Come on Barbudans, what are u trying to prove? The time is not now stir any ants nest. Trevor Walker should know better. As a Christian he should know that the bible advocates, one should subject themselves to authority.
There is always a right & wrong way of doing things… Two wrongs cannot make a right… The Barbudan council answers to the central govt….. A man who plays warri with God may end up and get no seed…… Remember Mr.Walker & your fellow Barbudans, there is always severe consequences when one takes the law into their own hands…..
    HUMBLE YOURSELF !!!!!
