The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Centre is reporting that an earthquake occurred north east of Barbados in the wee hours of this morning.
The magnitude 3.8 quake, which was recorded at 1:50 a.m., was located at latitude 14.06 degrees north and longitude 58.70 west, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The Centre said it also affected St Lucia and Martinique.
