Bahamas: Four survive plane crash off Eleuthera

LOOP NEWS – The Royal Bahamas Police Force has confirmed reports of an aircraft that crashed off Eleuthera shorelines on Friday after 7 pm.  

According to a report, four persons were onboard the Bahamian registered aircraft that took off from Governor’s Harbor Eleuthera, en route to New Providence, when the pilot began experiencing issues with the aircraft and made an emergency landing.

Residents of James Cistern, Eleuthera assisted the four occupants of the aircraft to land, where all persons appeared well with no injuries.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority (AAIA) said the aircraft was a Piper PA-23.
