Lateefa-George

Lateefa George, aged 27, likely died from brain trauma, oxygen deprivation, and infection, possibly accelerated by poison.

Pathologist Dr. P. Miller Nanton’s post-mortem report from Holberton Hospital on February 9, 2024, noted blood clots, brain swelling, and a lower respiratory tract infection.

Signs included a head injury, brain swelling, oxygen deprivation, and blood clots in her lungs.

Lateefa’s parents are suing the hospital and Attorney General, alleging negligence in her care and investigation by the Royal Police Force.

They claim neglect at the women’s detention area, improper medication, and insufficient investigations by health authorities.

  1. Sad! At least, now they know! God give them the strength to go through the remainder of this tragic ordeal!

  2. What’s done in the dark always comes to light, rest in peace Ms.George and condolences once again to her family and loved ones.

  3. Congratulations to Ms George’s family on winning round one…..!!!

The hospital authorities need to understand that they are accountable to the patients & their families not the families & patients be accountable to them.

The govt or the SLBMC board will soon have a lot more to pay out because more lawsuits are on their way coming.

There are too many complaints about the services coming the public medical fraternity.

  4. About time this government, the hospital and whoever be asked to give an account of their stewardship. Molwyn Joseph should be included in the lawsuit.
The only thing I regret is that it’s taxpayers who will bear the weight for this incompetence.
The same goes for the DAWG and his cabinet. Any lawsuit now will be at the expense of the taxpayers. Hopefully corruption has no statute of limitation.

  5. Well well well. Possible poison? So it was an overdose of medication. The Lawyer need to get a hold of that log book to ensure that the dosage of medicines was recorded.
1.Who gave authority for the medication?
    2.what type of medication?
    3. Which nurse or doctor gave her the injections or pills?
    4. Who were the nurses on duty on that day ?
    5. All members of staff should be made to answer for their actions in a court of law on the days leading up to her death and also on thae day she died.
    6. Mrs. George dont be afraid. Money cant bring her back but ask gor at least 10 MILLION dollars for;
    1. Negligence.
    2. Funersl expenses gor your entire family.
    3. Psycological distress
    4. Emtional distress
    5. Mental distress
    7. Pain and suffering.
    8. Grief and loss

WHEN YOU DONE WITH THEM THEY MUST PUT THEMSELVES STRAIGHT.

All who know about what happened and are afrsid to talk, I pray that they have many sleepless nights and will be tormented for the rest of their lives. That their children will be fatherless and thier days will be shortened. The bible say that another will take thier office. They better start talking or else they will suffer. Some of them will start hoping like frogs, they will experience the fires if hell even before they get there. May they (both doctors and nurses be afraid to enter the gates of that institution). Tjey will see Lateefah’s face all over the place. Look out for resignations. DONT PLAY WITH GOD’S PEOPLE.
    JUSTICE FOR LATEEFAH.

  6. Blood clots in her lungs? That’s normally called a pulmonary embolism. Not a common occurrence in an otherwise healthy person, but would explain the oxygen deprivation.
If for some reason this women had a pulmonary embolism, then it could explain the head trauma, since she would have been at high risk of passing out and collapsing which has a high risk of head trauma.

On the other hand, maybe she was severely beaten and strangled.

The full report has not been published, but if this article reflects the detail of the pathologists findings, then we desperately need someone else.
