Authorities are intensifying their investigation into the death of 16-year-old Yenifer Bridge, whose body was discovered near Fig Tree Hill Drive on Friday morning.
Suspecting rape and murder, they are awaiting the pathologist’s report to confirm the cause of death. Preliminary findings indicate she suffered a violent death and may have been sexually assaulted.
Clifton Cabral, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), shared on Browne and Browne that photos revealed Yenifer’s shorts were improperly fastened, suggesting they may have been removed.
Although there were no visible injuries from blunt objects or weapons, Cabral hinted they have a suspected cause of death pending autopsy results.
The case is being treated as a possible abduction leading to sexual assault and murder.
Yenifer, a mother to a two-year-old boy, was found after her child was discovered wandering alone on Jonas Road the previous night. Authorities are ensuring proper care for the child amid these tragic events.

A body found outside, would not be the best kind to have withheld the manner of death, if it was a stabbing or blunt force or gunshot. Unlike some untrained people have posted online. There would be too much risk of anyone being interrogated to successful claim the information was had through the grapevine.
Anyway, all folks with a camera on your real property (land) leading to the child’s location, please review, and provide footage to law enforcement. Ensure you keep copies for yourself.
All folks with cameras leading to the mother, also review footage from around that time. I would say begin about 5 hours before discovery of the child.
A professional profiler/investigator need to see the body to determine, if it was someone she knew, or random criminal seeing an opportunity and taking it. Which means, we may have a serial killer or potential serial killer. Conduct like this, once done, will be hard to stop.
It is why this information would have been vital to be release to the public without giving details of details but obvious facts like obvious cause of death in this situation should or could have been released.
These are the kind of cases you must use experts in forensic, profiling and investigation. This is a potential public threat and should be treated as such until evidence contradict this.

This is a 16 year girl and she has a 2 year old child. Which means she got pregnant at the age of 13 or 14. ANR, in your earlier report, it was started that her missing child was eventually reunited with the father (article: https://antiguanewsroom.com/police-rescued-toddler-late-last-night/).
Does that mean that the father was never charged for rape? How old is the father? I guess we can’t charge him now because he needs to take care of the child.

Very sad indeed condolences 💐 to the family. We need finger print forensic in this country’s once you commit a crime or offense no matter how minor finger prints should be taken a saved. Police always test for prints but what’s the use when they have nothing to run them by 🙄
