Authorities Make Multiple Drug Seizures

Over one hundred and twenty pounds of Cannabis was seized in two separate drugs operation between Police, Customs and Coast Guard.

 

On Saturday 1st August, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard discovered a bale of Cannabis floating off Nonsuch Bay during a sea patrol.

The substance which weighed a total of 100lbs was handed over to Police for further investigations.

 

Meanwhile, Police and Customs seized a total of 23 ½lbs of Cannabis at Deep Water Harbour on Wednesday 5th August.

 

The illegal substance was found among children’s clothing coming out of California. The items were taken to Police Headquarters for further investigations.

  3. and in Canada Marijuana is legal, the government makes a fortune on taxes, jobs are created and no money is spent on policing a plant that was giving to us by mother nature.

  4. The names and number are on the parcels so they can still get to them many ways they dont have to go port. Cause thay can even get them when they go tropical or other shipping agencies when they go to collect the paper.
