AUA institutes hybrid system for students as COVID-19 rages on

0

Cabinet Notes: The Cabinet was informed that the American University of Antigua (AUA) has instituted a hybrid system, allowing most students to carry classes from a virtual platform, and a few to utilize face-to-face classroom settings.

The UWI has a similar blended system at some campuses, depending upon WiFi accessibility by students.

No student can be compelled to travel to the jurisdiction for classes.

Although a physical presence would be preferable to the virtual classes, the option has kept students tethered to the university.
