AT&LU commences legal action against mandatory vaccination in Antigua and Barbuda

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Union hereby advises that it has received legal counsel and has commenced the
process to challenge the Government’s Mandatory Vaccination Policy,

Meanwhile, in keeping with the instructions published in the Gazette of 17th
September 2021, all unvaccinated employees are asked to remain at home.

An unvaccinated employee who attends the workplace would be in breach of the Public
Health Act (Dangerous Infectious Disease) (Amendment) (No. 16) regulations 2021,
and be liable to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment of up to one month.

The results of the legal action that we have started will be made known by or before
30th September 2021.

  1. Gaston have Astaphan advising him to make vaxine mandatory in antigua, but he not advising skeritt to do the same in Dominica where he is from

  2. This is sooooo tiring!! Gaston Browne has done what should have been done months ago. Don’t you guys see how explosive this situation has become. Now we’re going to court. When will this madness end?

    • Never you force us to take a vaccine without knowing our concern or medical history you even go as far to say who is rasta but ask who is Christian an see ppl who never go church say me and are accepted exceptions for workers you need and slavery for the rest why the government never incourage green tea and local methods showing local and tourists how healthy it is but u only care about image and sick money my forefathers save for time like this
