Asot Michael is an Antiguan to the core! He is also one of the brightest mentally that have graced the Parliament of Antigua, the Cabinet and the Government. His contributions of his family’s money to the rulers of both parties is well known, and his golden heart in response to just people in general is well known by all. It would be fair to say he does not have hatred in his heart.
When one considers that it was with political guile that he surreptitiously went personally to Barbuda and brought the Barbuda people to vote the current PM to leadership of the ABLP, moving out his mentor Lester Bird and replaced him with Gaston Browne, because he felt the country needed a younger leader! And then the leader tried and is still trying to steal the island from the Barbuda people, we see the difference in the heart of the two men, and the where they stand with Barbuda.
And when one thinks that Asot has always had access to money, and Gaston is only now knowing money, one is forced to recognize that it is Gaston who is the money hawk enriching himself and his family at the expense of the people, while Asot spends it on behalf of the people.
It all started with money which Asot knows how Gaston got it, and one of these days will tell on him. So far Asot is holding his tongue, and Gaston is threatening to rob Asot of the only thing that matters to Asot – his political life.
The ALP has always ignored Parham and St.Peters from the days of Joseph Myers who like Asot had to keep his constituency buoyed up by his small shop which fed his neglected people who continued to vote for Labour and Myers.
Asot holds his hope in his people regardless of political party and God will bless him.
And all those who want to cuss his behavior, what about those fat thieves in the ABLP who continue to fleece the people by selling Antigua lands back to the white people and pocketing the money.
And all those whose hands are filthy with the vice of young women’s virtue, old women’s collusion in covering up their sins, and the brazen theft of millions of dollars with outsiders.
Asot your Constituency has always been under ABLP pressure and has survived with loyalty, continue to give and you will be blessed!
