Ask Peter Wickham

DEAR EDITOR:

If you want to do a preview of the next General Election results, you just have to start with a few assumptions as follows: CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP FOR NEWS UPDATES.

1. The ABLP will win 50% of the total votes cast.

2. The UPP will win between between 1% and 50% of the total votes cast.

3. The DNA will win between !% and 50% of the total votes cast.

4. The UPP + DNA will win 50% of the total votes cast.

5. If the UPP vote tally doesn’t exceed 25% of the total votes cast they will win no seat.

6. If the DNA vote tally doesn’t exceed 25% of the total votes cast they will win no seat.

7. There is a high probability that both the UPP and DNA will each not win more than 25% of the total votes cast.

8. There is a high probability that the ABLP will win not less than 50% of the total votes cast.

So, with the above assumptions and probabilities playing out, it is highly likely that the General Election results will be very similar to what happened last time, only that the ABLP is likely to increase its majority in Parliament. Don’t blame me, you can do the Math yourself. If you don’t believe me, ask Mr. Peter Wickham what he thinks.

  1. Ask Peter Wickham about his epic mistake in Grenada. Is he using the same indicators for Antigua?

    • Speculation can not be a mistake.! Mr. Wyckam is not perfect… However, his for Antigua’s past elections has been on target… His prediction for this election will definitely be on the ball. ABLP 17 …. UPP 0 ………….

      • Pollsters can all make mistakes. For example in 2004 election CASURA was just about spot on. Most other polls got it very wrong. Since 2014 CASURA has been way off.

  2. Assumptions = wishful thinking

Has the education system become so broken that nobody is able to think logically anymore???

  3. Yes Peter Wickham’s analysis is a healthy word salad with extra cheese and dressing on the side.

  4. Peter what is the relationship between your best husband who is a Frenchman and the Australian

  5. He got it wrong in St. Lucia too. Let him continue to tell them that they will win. They will be blindsided by th results.

  6. A man that doesn’t know his identity how can you trust anything he say. Ask him what is an abomination and see how he will justify his ways

  7. Ask ABLP to pay the contractors and it’s suppliers. Not talking about the chosen few like Kool store , brothers store and government ministers. You have bankrupted most local businesses that does business with the government Lennox and Gaston.

  8. Although some people in Antigua and Barbuda would presently favour a change of Government, political theory is suggesting that if the United Progressive Party (UPP) were to be elected to power at this time, it would lead an unstable Government that would quickly revert to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), or sooner collapse or be overthrown in a coup by the population within a year in power.

So, the wise voters will either reelect the Antigua And Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) or vote in the Democratic National Alliance (DNA), which, in fact, would be the best choice (option).
