  1. This is a sad case of where our Leadership is having a SERIOUS CARDIAC ARREST🤨🤨…Our Police Department or lack there of are ILL-EQUIPPED..Better have it undervcontrol by MAY😬😬…

  2. Can Antigua use a retired Texas Ranger or US Marshall to hunt down and extermate some of these armed robbers plaguing the country ? GET A BOUNTY HUNTER

    • @Miron Reynolds…Antigua, and by extension, CARICOM, the OECS from my understanding, have law enforcement agencies similar to the Federal Bureau of Investigations – FBI, the Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms – ATF and the States Bureau of Investigations such as the Texas Rangers.
However, those in the OECS & CARICOM seems to be lacking in training(investigations to evidence collections to storage of Crime Data).
Local Law Enforcement is lagging behind the Criminals(white collar & blue collar) and their operations.

While more can be done(boots on the ground, simple surveillance, community policing) locally, to curtail some of these localised street crimes, the matrices, mediums and orders which provide the network(s) for these street thugs to thrive in, have to be dismantled simultaneously with the street level petty crimes. This is where, those INTER-ISLAND Crime Fighting Agencies MUST collaborate more with each other, especially, when it comes to the sharing of Crime data(DNA to fingerprints to Criminal Records) instantaneously, as is the case with CODIS etc.

The Caribbean is dealing with 22nd Century Criminals(I know it’s only 2024 – C21st). However, it seems like our law enforcement tactics, for the most part is still stuck in the 19th Century!

  3. Antigua is an economic powerhouse. So we are told. Who are these people committing all these robberies? Any bet they are a bunch of unemployed young men. You see this is how they live. They have no job and when the money runs out they rob again. Provide jobs for these young men and if they are not Antiguans, round them up and ship them home. Round up all the non nationals without jobs. People who are gainfully employed, don’t have time to rob people.

  4. Where in Antigua is that Gas Station? Too many armed in the place. It is going to hurt the good name of Antigua and Barbuda. That could deter visitors from coming to Antigua. Those in authority needs to jump on this matter like yesterday and nip it in the bud.

  5. Those in authority? Y’all make me laugh, even though this is no laughing matter.

Those who are in authority have been missing in action a long long time ago, they are too busy dancing before kings and dictators abroard, leaving y’all to the mad men on the streets, lurking around the corner for every opportunity to show y’all what a dumb mistake we made by putting this man back in power who has sold out Antigua to foreigners.

Didn’t y’all see what they did? They brought in the 1000 Africans and drop them in y’all laps, and say, tek dat, then y’all fools went out and voted for these jokers to be back in power.

We shall reap what we sow, plain and simple.

  6. Where is Charlie’s Service Station ?
    Why assume everyone knows?
    Why are your pieces,,always,,sooo lacking?
Which Big Wig is selling guns on our streets?
Whatever happened to the one making & selling passports?

  7. If the police were competent, they would know by intelligence who are committing these robberies. How come not one of these robbers has been arrested? Is this how a lot of the illegals are surviving until the next election when they will be given amnesty? No government minister, Prime, Minister, District Attorney, not even the head of the police force has come out and address these robberies. Antiguans can’t continue to live in fear and demand that the people in power do something about it. For some politicians it is all about staying in power, but for the rest of us, it is living without fear.
