The Antigua Public Utilities Authority’s Electricity Business Unit would like to urge persons to cease and desist from dismantling and removing fallen utility poles around the island. The theft of these poles is an offence and legal action can be taken against perpetrators.
APUA will be forced to engage the assistance of the Antigua and Barbuda Royal Police Force should persons persist with this practice.
The APUA Electricity Business Unit also solicits the assistance of the public by reporting any suspicious activity to the nearest police station. We would like to extend advanced gratitude for the cooperation and assistance of the public.
