APUA Installs New 10-Inch Pipeline on Buckleys Line, Night Works Underway to Improve Water Reliability

2

Our team within the Water Business Unit is currently on site along Buckleys Line carrying out night works to connect a new 10-inch HDPE pipeline.

Testing and commissioning of this new line is expected to begin tomorrow.

This connection introduces a stronger, more resilient pipeline, replacing the older line that was subject to frequent breaks, and will improve service quality for the area.

Motorists are kindly asked to proceed with caution when approaching the work zone. A temporary bypass route is in effect.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance the reliability of our service.

  1. Every time we hear about pipeline replacements we expect improvements, but sometimes the results take a long time to show. I really hope this project brings real change for residents in the area.

  2. Hopefully projects like this continue across other parts of the island that also experience frequent pipeline breaks. Reliable infrastructure should be consistent everywhere, not just in selected areas.
