The APUA Social Club, organizers of the annual fete Power Rumble, has announced that “due to extenuating circumstances beyond our control Power Rumble will not be held this year, 2017.”
The company did not give a specific reason for the cancellation but expressed sincere apologies “to our loyal patrons and stakeholders for this cancellation.”
The APUA Social Club, says, however, it fully intends to resume with another installment of the event in 2018.
“We would like to thank you for your understanding and support of this event over the years and we look forward to your continued patronage in 2018,” the company said in a statement.
Power Rumble is one of the major pre-carnival events and attracts thousands of patrons to participate each July.
