Go Forward and Do Great Things! Use your talents to not only highlight the heights that a young Black Female has attained in the male dominated Architecture Arena but also to show young Female Antiguans and Barbudans of African Descent and the next generation of young Black Students that leading the way in STEM is possible!

Friend, CountryWoMen, Rastas, In this the international Decade for People of African Descent 2015 -2024 this achievement is no small feat and will not only go down at Howard but be remembered by Antigua and Barbuda in the annals of History or better yet “HerStory!”

“I can hear the roar of women’s silence. … Humankind does not submit passively to the power of nature. It takes control over this power. This process is not an internal or subjective one. … The importance of dialectical materialism lies in going beyond the inherent limits of biology, rejecting simplistic theories about our being slaves to the nature of our species, and, instead, placing facts in their social and economic context.” ― Thomas Sankara, Women’s Liberation and the African Freedom Struggle!

  8. Congrats to this young lady. Antiguan shines again. And what shine also is the money this PM has put aside to educate our young people. This was a recipient of the PM Scholarship fund. I hope she writes him a big thank you. Cause no matter what you want to say and which party you belong to, it helps a lot when you can count on the monies from a source other than the bank and if your parents cannot aford it. Then your dreams may remain dreams and nothing else. But I will not take away from the fact the hard work that this young lady may have put in her study to achieve this milestone in her young carrier. I trust her now to gain the needed experience and to come back home and make her contribution to the country that gave her so much. And this thing that we need expats to come here all the time to do certain jobs has to stop. I’ll bet you non of them where even the best of their graduating class, but they come here and want to let us think they are better then us. This needs to stop. Out people have better brains then many of them.
