The government is diverting the road at Shell Beach to open up land to local investors.

An architect from OPBM was invited to Cabinet this week to make a presentation on the shifting of the road that now runs along the coastline where the old Beachcomber Hotel once was located.

The company is also expected to create nearly 30 acres of crown land covered presently by shrubbery and unwanted vegetation.

The Cabinet already agreed that after shifting the road and to it sell the 35 plots of virgin land to those interested in acquiring property for development.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne says the project will be a CIP investment option.
