Nicholas Santana Areche, an Antiguan and Barbudan, escaped custody in St Kitts and Nevis two months ago and remains unfound.

Despite St. Kitts’ small size (23 miles long, 5 miles wide, and 69 square miles in area), law enforcement is baffled by their inability to locate him.

It is suspected that Santana may have left St Kitts and Nevis.

Santana allegedly captained the sunken ship, La Belle Michelle, resulting in 32 deaths. He is the only fugitive remaining after nine others escaped.

Only 14 out of 30 Cameroonians onboard were rescued, along with Santana and another Antiguan.
