Content Creator Denied Entry into Bali Despite Spending $6,000 on Ticket

Bali, Indonesia – In a shocking turn of events, popular content creator SkiesTV, also known as Joshua, recently shared a disheartening experience of being denied entry into Bali despite spending a considerable sum of $6,000 on his ticket. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP

The ordeal began when Joshua, armed with an Antiguan and Barbudan passport, attempted to obtain a Bali Visa to enter the Indonesian paradise.

Due to the smaller size of Antigua, obtaining a Bali Visa proved to be a unique challenge, as the island’s authorities question residents leaving for larger countries.

Undeterred, Joshua diligently applied for the visa online. However, the process took an unexpected turn when he discovered that physical presence was required to secure the Bali Visa.

To navigate this, he received an email from the Bali Embassy instructing him to show customs agents that he had an appointment with the embassy.

Upon arriving at the Bali customs, Joshua presented all the necessary documents to the customs agent, only to face unwarranted scrutiny. The customs agent’s manager, after a brief examination, directed Joshua to sit in a corner while they conducted checks.

The situation escalated when Joshua attempted to explain his predicament.

The manager reportedly dismissed him, instructing him to stay silent and not to talk. Despite having the documentation to support his claims, Joshua was informed that he would be sent back to his last stop.

Expressing his frustration, Joshua revealed that the customs agents seemed to mock him while discussing his case in a corner, laughing under their breaths.

The content creator, who had traveled alone while his family continued ahead due to ticketing complications, was left in disbelief at the treatment he received after investing a significant amount in his journey.

Reflecting on the incident, Joshua expressed disappointment at the lack of communication between the customs officials and the Bali Embassy.

He questioned why they didn’t make a simple call to verify his information, considering the substantial investment he had made in his trip.

As Joshua heads back to Malaysia, en route to Tokyo and eventually Antigua, his followers are left wondering about the potential impact of this incident on his future travel plans and the broader issue of profiling and communication breakdowns at international borders.

  1. Who do these people think they are? Our minister of foreign affairs should meet with the Indonesian authorities to make sure this doesn’t happen again – we shouldn’t let them into our Caricom countries if they don’t let us into theirs – our abuse us at their border. What a joke.

    • @Annoyed Antiguan: How many persons from Indonesia visit Antigua? I have watched many shows on TV.In regards to Immigration and Customs in the Airports around England,Europe and Asia. The way they treat persons coming in from all around the world. It is not as easy as visitors coming into Antigua.Where by all the doors and windows are opened for all who wishes may enter through. We as a Nation need to clean up and tighten our systems.

    • Lol
A simple google search revels that visitors with an Antiguan passport must obtain a visa before arriving in Indonesia.

He didn’t and bore the consequences.
Welcome to the real world where being a “content creator” doesn’t mean your above the law

      • Same i was saying he probably was the victim of a scam since his research said he had to go indonesia to get the visa in hand which does not make sense.

        • Someone trick him , ma daughter went to Indonesia and she had to gwt the visa before
arriving on Indonesia, she sent her passport to the Indonesian consulate in Mexico anf fot her visa

  2. Youtubers get banned from foreign countries quite regularly once the content they do can be deemed inappropriate . That’s the digital age we live in. Not saying that’s what happened here but maybe that’s Karma from his incident in Hawaii.

  3. Karma: destiny or fate, following as effect from cause.

Kinda sound like a interpretation of it . Maybe just coincidence , maybe a lot of differnt things. maybe they just didn’t like they way he looked, the way he spoke and maybe they just seen him as undesirable. Its unfortunate he spent his money to get there and then turned around. I am sure this happened in Antigua as well, as a matter of fact i seen this happen to a Jamaican man one coming through customs… However i do wonder if the young man travelled together with his family if things would have turned out differnt? all speculation.

  4. I don’t know what draws people to places like Bali. Total waste of time to visit. Your may go jail for passing gas.

    • Indonesian police make ours look like angels, but Bali is a beautiful place to visit.
Or at least it used to be

  5. Guess what firm would have been able to assist him and what government told this firm owner, we, “ABLP can’t help you get the applications you need to be expedited and decided on the merit”.

International crime victims rights that includes immigration benefits, crime victims fund, crime victim support put you in connection with people all over the world. You even get invited to PM, President’s and other important people’s home for dinner. It includes those authority in places like Bali. Just to name one.

  6. This is great news, the boy is an asshole. They should have arrested him. He’s a fame seeker at the expense of unsuspecting citizens who may not have had the benefit of a sound education. Probably can’t even spell Indonesia

  7. See how other countries secure their borders, only antigua let anybody In our country from any where, cooyah….muhahaha whether it’s Africans or Iranians, talking bout our brothers, you don’t even know what kind of crime these ppl done gone and commit. Just come on in every body!!!!

  8. People who are crictical of this guy and his content clearly shows how backward and behind in social media they are… I see nothing wrong with what this young guy is doing! Atleast he’s not putting on a mask and robbing people… you idiots with no sense of humor needs to get a life and travel to broaden your mindset….

  9. We do not care sometimes we need to learn to hush and stop blocking our own blessings. If you never had the visa we should not have know you were headed to Bali- next time make sure all is final before you brag

  10. Some comments are too negative. He made quite a blunder by not obtaining the Visa first. He was rolling the dice on this one. Spent quite a bit of money. Some of these places ask us to jump through hoops when we want to travel to their country and don’t have diplomatic relations with them. The Foreign Affairs Department needs to recognize that it is not everyone who wants to visit the US and many times when they go there it is just to watch TV.

  11. Was he with a white wife? 🤣Antigua would have let him in if situation was reversed. Same with Turks & Caicos Islands. You can’t just come to their borders without being vetted. They don’t have foreigners hanging around and messing up their country. Very strict. Must have a good reason to come and must leave in their time.

  12. None of us are entitled to enter another country. They have the right to deny you for whatever reason. (Antiguans felt the same way when Cameroonians came here). Just tough luck to the young man, go somewhere else
