Antiguan Company Wins Prestigious International Business Award

 

Sutherland Coaching and Consulting    was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Startup of the Year – Business Services Industries category in The 16^th Annual International Business Awards® today.

 

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2019 IBAs received entries from organizations in 74 nations and territories.

 

A record total of more than 4,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others. Sutherland Coaching and Consulting won in the Business Services Industries category for Startup of the Year.

 

Sutherland Coaching and Consulting is headed up by husband and wife team Derrick and Janice Sutherland – former Digicel Antigua & Barbuda CEO. Their award winning entry focused on their work to drive female leadership representation and empowerment within Caribbean organizations under the This Woman Can brand which includes leadership and business development programs both online and in-house, executive coaching, the popular business podcast This Woman Can featuring interviews with Caribbean business women (recently voted as one of the top 20 leadership podcasts to listen to in 2019) and international best-selling book This Woman Can.
