The 2024 Antigua Sailing Week is nearing, with 89 boats from 11 countries registered, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Finland, Holland, Ireland, and Barbados.

The races span 13 classes, each posing unique challenges. The Round the Island race kicks off with 22 boats on Saturday, including Antigua and Barbuda’s Huey Too.

The Wingfoiling competition, ongoing since Thursday, features 9 participants in professional and leisure categories.

A new addition is the Dragon Class, with world champion Paul Ho Jensen competing.

Social events like Reggae in the Park with artist Sanchez, Lay Day at Pigeon Beach, and Dockyard Day at English Harbour add to the excitement.

English Harbour is buzzing as crews and boats continue to arrive, following the conclusion of the Antigua Classic Regatta on Sunday, known for its informal yet highly anticipated gathering of beautiful boats from around the world.
