  1. With the discovery of a new radiant of the virus in England that spreads 70 % faster that the order ,what measures will be put in place to mitigate this from entering our shores? Other European countries already start cancelled flights and put certain restrictions in place. Israel and Turkey already banned all flights out of England. I know we are very dependent on the visitors, but life must be first .

    • No measures.

      It’s fine.

It’s only returning nationals we have to worry about.

There are only 5 active cases. Every time we record a new case, another case or two recovers.

Active cases never go over 9 per 100K in Antigua.

Antigua is a magic place. COVID doesn’t really spread here except from those bad returning nationals, as you know, and even then we never have more than 9 active cases.

      All is well.

      • BDS is also a magical place? They have active cases of 20 for a population of 287,541 so lets say 3 times anu. Norming the data to match ours we can equate them to about 7 active cases? Clearly the protocols used in both nations are working. The one that stands out here is the required negative PCR test taken before arrival here.

      • Listen @ none! You hit the nail on the head! Lol … only retuning nationals bring COVID but it’s ok … we have bracelets now! Everything is good.

Tourist from the us and Uk do not have COVID and cannot spread it to hotel workers… only returning nationals from New York have covid.

        Lol..

And never more that 9 cases at a time… cause we must be on that good list to get the all mighty dollar

  2. And actually tests everyone entering

In Antigua we don’t need to do such things.

We test as few as possible, only quarantine nationals

Luckily COVID doesn’t spread. At least our tourists would never spread it to us.

And our cases never go above 9.

Like I said, magic and such…nothing to worry about. Nothing to worry V about at all.

  3. @none, none yes & barbados – Well stated!
People of Antigua, PLEASE TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
    ignore haters & naysayers
Wear your mask / wash your hands / keep 6′ distance / do not socialize beyond your family bubble.
The island is full of tourists right now, happy to have escaped the hell of their covid tiers & state by state confusing nuances. They rightly crave a relaxing sun filled happy holiday. They can receive that in Antigua
    However
We must not allow ourselves to relax this holiday season while serving them & making a few $.
2021 looking rough – certainly first half of the year. Please do all you can to stay healthy.

  4. What I really want to say they’re not going to post it . what on Earth are they smoking .This a game a game of catch the dollar bill. They’re certified IDIOTS . Keep playing your little game of YOU HAVE COVID N YOU DON’T .

    • The leaders of this country are not taking this very serious and very dangerous disease seriously.

If they don’t stop flights from the UK post haste we are going to be flooded with new variant cases on the island in a matter of weeks

  5. The covidiots are really out and abouy. Wha mek aru nah gwan go lib pan Redunda den. Aru nah hab nutting fu worry bout. Aru phucking sickening now wid aru phucking complaning.

    • Heh “Chupz ” do you even know what’s going on in the world today or you still or you still believe Santa is real Chupz !

        • We have nothing to worry about.

It’s not like a deadly disease is rapidly spreading around the world and killing thousands of people each day.

It’s not like other countries are doing their best to keep the disease off of their soil.

We can just keep letting thousands of people in from high-diseased areas and chill.

Everything’s going to be just fine.

The Antiguan government will never report more than 9 active cases at a time. I’m sure that will us all safe.

And if you happen to suddenly drop dead, don’t worry, in Antigua you won’t be counted amongst COVID victims. We will tell everyone that you You died of natural causes or some such thing.

          No worries at all.

        • Ha ha I think Chupz dropped out of Kindergarten most of his statements are assinide I would be worried if you came around my family .you offer no solutions just insults
