  1. Your days are going to be very stressful and your nights sleepless. That APUA in my opinion, is a cesspool of corruption. You should begin your tenure by bringing in a Forensic Accountant and Auditor. Open the BOOKS to the Public to see the hanky panky that goes on at APUA.

  2. When people used to comment on articles and posts, and say things like, “Antigua is not a real place”, I used to get really irritated; I’d think, “what the h*ll?! Of course it is a real place! Damn it, real people live here!”

But then I see a headline, with a story like this, and I really do have to wonder, like for real!? 😡…

    Are our memories so short?
    How soon do we forget!
Or maybe I’m just too damn old!

Is this a bloody joke or what?
Is this the same Joe Bloke that presided over the APUA Water Division when the nation’s water woes began, back in the early 2000s?
Who seemingly acted with impunity? Like, monarch of all he surveyed, wanting to speak to people any old way – kinda like somebody else in authority?
He, who cared so little about water consumers’ complaints about rusty water coming through their pipes? When the water could be, and actually was, mistaken for Tamarind Drink by APUA employees? When residents, fortunate enough to have washing machines, could not let the machines fully run through a wash cycle of laundry, particularly a load of whites, for fear of rusty water ruining another load?
Same body, who should have seen to the completion of the ‘pipeline project’ – to replace the rusty, Colonial Era pipelines in the country so long ago?
But instead, jumped ship for greener pastures on the eastern coastline, for a taste of the ‘Club life’?

    AWDJYT!! 🤐🙄
Or maybe I should say “a wha ya, mind dem na hice you tail”!

The ‘Top Dawg’ likes to refer to ‘obstructionists’ and ‘saboteurs’ in positions that are ‘undermining the government’s agenda’.
But does he really know where he stands with this one?
Let’s hope his legal spawn doesn’t hold any sway over him!
Let us hope too, that this time around, everyone will act with integrity! I know underhanded, back room, under table, deals are rife in the public sector, and seem to be the rule rather than the exception!
But, is it too much to ask for APUA to set the example, and start the ball rolling to clean house!?

We will be watching you JB 👀 👀…
    Like 🐀 🐀 🐀 watch 🧀!
Only, this time, you’re the 🧀!

    Holding your 🦶🏿🦶🏿🔥🔥!

  3. I would congratulate my “friend” John, whom I’ve known for many years.
However my experience have taught me never to reward someone that left or someone from with. They do not get the same respect from their colleagues. Always bring someone external. And as I’ve said before APUA is full with political cronies from both sides. A neutral person would fo better. One that doesn’t have any ties with anyone. And the sad reality is Antiguans respect a Caucasian more then their own.
APUA should therefore be run by a MASSA

  4. These people are old and should be sent home. Give younger people opportunities. You can’t treat an old dog new tricks. We need a new prospective.

  5. All I am asking, does he have the required experience and degree?

As long as he has either, and is a man of ethics, then I am in support of the appointment.

I want to see appointments being made through merit.

    • Whosoever Clem is, he is absolutely CRAZY. Do you know this dude? I’ve known him for 30+ years and I can assure you that APUA is doomed with the likes of him returning. Shows that the politicians don’t think and all you need to do is get close to the minister and you are set. Ethics? LOL!! he? HICE-PUA?

      • The politician have a tough job. Any decision they make will be criticized. But in the end they are the one that need to make the decision. And I know they are thinking of keeping things local. But as I say, I would rather bring in someone from abroad. Bradshaw is coming back to his old colleagues. And sometime the saying.: A king has no honor in his own country, can be interpreted as “familiarity breeds contempt”. And I believe that is what his greatest problem will be. But I also wonder if he is a only familiar with the water division as I’ve known him for years being the manager of that division. Mr. Martin was the CFO and moved into that position as GM. I always doubt people with such background to know how to run the entire operation. Not just one department. We have Electricity, Water and Telephone and Inet. Anyway lets wish him well. It would be good if he succeeds.

  6. Like I said before it was political someone got promoted for being apart of the problem, also the direct manager of the water crisis at the time the only thing that came to my mind is the former general manager wasn’t the problem if you don’t believe me just ask the former minister responsible for Apua
