Antigua Port Authority officials are actively considering a new facility in Barbuda, aiming to match the island’s rapid growth.

Port Manager Darwin Telemaque mentioned that the original design for River Dock, shaped by Hurricane Irma’s impact, needs reevaluation due to Barbuda’s changing landscape with increased business activity and tourism development.

Telemaque’s team, led by Evron Zachariah, plans to assess the River Dock project and Barbuda’s overall suitability for the initiative.

This effort aligns with Antigua’s port advancements, such as the $90 million upgrade of the St. John’s port launched in January 2018 under China’s Belt and Road Initiative, managed by China Civil Engineering Construction Corp and funded by a loan from China’s Export-Import Bank.

  1. Fool the people every hour, fool the people every day, and fool the people month after month, and soon they will believe you. Those are the characteristics of an autocracy.

The facts are that what’s called River Dock was created for barges moving sand out of Barbuda. Barbudans have been using the Wharf in Codrington for hundreds of years and today it’s still in use.

First it was PLH/BOC who promised to dredge and build a port at River, so they can bring in their goods and supplies without stopping in Antigua.

That went by the wayside and the reality is the following:
A family of note was given the Dulcina Hotel and 30 acres. The family has been trying to flip the land at the same time when they want to take away more of Barbudans lands for their personal wealth building.

Two Bulgarians CIP citizens has become the partners who are fronting for “You Know Who” to bring in a Hotel branded by Rosewood.

The plan they have in mind is for the two Eastern Europeans to offer an all expenses to both some Council members (who have turned it down) and Antigua Port Officials.

THAT IS WHERE THIS BARBUDA PORT IDEA IS COMMING FROM.

The crude master plan which was flashed for a quick second when Serpent visited Barbuda has now been upgraded in an attempt to mirror what PLH is doing: selling building lots for millions.
Rosewood plans are for a Boutique Hotel which can easily fit on 5 acres, but they are looking for 150 acres so they can sell lots for over USD $4.0 million like PLH.

“Telemaque’s team, led by Evron Zachariah, plans to assess the River Dock project and Barbuda’s overall suitability for the initiative” is a rouse. What assessment? Draft for the Ferries and cargo boats? Roads Power and bathroom facilities.
Its just a piece of sloping concrete into the water…Are they going to do what? Distructive test? Traffic studies? Why don’t they build a toilet?
These individuals have no clue how this concrete slope projecting from the beach into the water was built. This was done out of convenience by a contractor for his sand mining operation to get him out of debt.

The River dock splits the beach that Rosewood Resorts would like to include in their project. That is the impetus behind Telemaque announcing he is taking a team to Barbuda.

What lying mumbo jumbo about original design for River Dock, shaped by Hurricane Irma’s impact. The only post Hurricane Irma plans Gaston Browne had, was to turn the Lagoon into a marina.
ANY MAJOR CHANGES TO RIVER DOCK IS GOING TO BE AN ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER
    To be continued….
