Antigua Groups Secure $50,000 Grant for Climate and Gender Justice Initiatives

The Antigua and Barbuda Network of Rural Women Producers and Swetes Village Uncovered are among 22 Caribbean organizations awarded $25,000 each by the Caribbean Feminist Climate Justice Movement and the Global Fund for Women.

These grants, totaling $50,000 in Antigua and Barbuda, will fund grassroots climate and gender justice initiatives, focusing on food security and economic equity.

Saran P. King, president of the Antigua and Barbuda Network, stated that the grant will aid in setting up an eco-friendly agro-processing factory, advancing women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture.
