  1. @Not so Common, the problem is not these people. Noone denies that they’re hard workers. The problem is the hypocritical, idiot who allows the destruction of Antigua and Barbuda’s ecosystem. This is what makes this whole thing so laughable.

  2. These people have absolutely no interest in protecting the environment. But they have the temerity to issue a PR statement saying:

“This was definitely a lot of hard work over the past few years and I am so happy that the UAE COP presidency decided to adopt at the beginning of COP28 recognizing the importance of such a fund.”
Working hard doing what? The operative word in that statement is “FUND”
Another highlight of an incompetent and underperforming Government entity.

They are off on a junket in the Middle East to COP28; while back here at home the environment is being undermined and destroyed every day.

With no public transportation policy, the GOAB promotes the use of fossil fuel in order to receive more tax revenues from petrol usage with the number of vehicles.

The GOAB approved the construction of an airport for PLH over a cave that protect Barbuda’s underground water aquifer. Only to shift to another site with and used a bogus environmental review process.

The list of incidents and practices destroying the environment are so numerous that it’s not worth listing here.

What we know; as they oversee and overlook the destruction of Antigua and Barbuda environment, an advance contingent sends back photos of their continued playing Antiguans and Barbudans.

    But Barbudans are fighting back.
