As CARIFESTA XIV concluded, the closing ceremony involved Minister Matthew accepting the CARIFESTA Baton from Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Community Development, Culture and the Arts, Dr. Hon. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly.
Antigua and Barbuda will host CARIFESTA XV in August, 2021.
The Minister of Sports, Culture, National Festivals and the Arts of Antigua and Barbuda, Daryll S. Matthew, gave his remarks at the ceremony where he praised Trinidad for raising the bar with CARIFESTA.
He also expressed pride in hosting the next CARIFESTA and promises that CARIFESTA XV in Antigua & Barbuda will deliver ‘an explosion of history and culture’.
